I think I said two-ten a bunch of times before realizing that that was 210. D’oh. Now I say two thousand and ten.
Good luck sticking to your goals! Hehe, commenting more wasn’t one of mine because I’m lazy and it sometimes DOES feel like a chore for me.

I vote for twenty-ten because I think it sounds better. And it’s shorter (yup, I’m lazy).

I think I have tentatively decided on “twenty ten” just because it’s easier to say than “two thousand and ten.” My opinion might change, though. I guess I’ll just wait and see which catches on first?

Am I the only person who isn’t making “comment on blogs more” a resolution? I see why everyone is doing it, but I think I already comment when I feel the need, and I wouldn’t want to leave stupid or irrelevant comments (at least, not any stupider or more irrelevant than the comments I usually leave, heh) for the sake of commenting more.

Yay for entering the blogosphere! I assure you, there’s always someone out there who wants to read it…

I’ve noticed that of all the people that moved to Dreamwidth… none of them post there exclusively, or very often at all.

Lol, I can imagine myself making the same calculation error and then being totally oblivious that it is obviously wrong.

I got my wisdom teeth removed this year too! And it wasn’t that bad at all. I just kept myself drugged during the whole recovery period and I barely felt a thing. Plus I lost weight from not being able to eat solids for like a week. Haha.

I think I will say twenty-ten, mainly because I’ve been hearing “Vancouver Twenty-Ten Olympics” for years. Hmmm, we’ll see though.

And my not-resolution (it’s more just a project) is also to comment more! I just wrote about it on my blog yesterday, actually! So far, it’s fun.

Twenty-ten all the way! I think the “two thousand and” beginning is quite clunky and long and I’m glad we get to be rid of it, haha. I mean, when talking about events in, say, 1066, no one says “one thousand and sixty-six”… (or do they?)

Good luck with your resolutions, especially the blogging more often. As for LJ v. Dreamwidth, I prefer Dreamwidth, but end up using LJ more often because there are more people I know on LJ. Still, I almost always post on Dreamwidth and crosspost to LJ, unless the post is filter-locked in which case I don’t bother. Anyway, there’s nothing to say you can’t use both.

I also agree that saving is better than spending. I really hate my room getting cluttered with random stuff (which it inevitably does even when I’m not buying random stuff!), and I also want to travel, move out, and do things that require a lot of money. So, with that in mind, frivolous expenses seem worthless.
