Sounds like a busy year indeed!

I’m glad someone else thinks Wall-E is overrated! I liked it, but it just didn’t appeal to me on the same level that most other Pixar films do. It definitely lacked the emotion that Up has.

I enjoy jobs that give me some degree of independence as well, and it’s always good to have several tasks. Makes the day go by faster!

@Jen: It's just my uni that has adopted, so we've got just six undergraduate degrees now. However! It's already regulated by certain bodies that you have to complete a Master's degree (so, minimum six years at uni) to become a registered psychologist, so it hasn't affected me too much at all!

i don’t feel comfortable talking about work on my blog, so I just stick with not mentioning it at all, beyond in passing. But hey, are you pursing your psychology qualifications through the B Arts degree through the American system I heard Monash/Melbourne had adopted (clumsy sentence, urgh!)? Personally, I find that method far more practical than jumping straight into a specialized degree out of high school.

I liked both Up and Wall E, but as with most animated films (like Happy Feet), I can’t warm to the ending — I like every bit BUT the endings, so often! If we weren’t comparing Pixar animations — Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs is beautiful.

I don’t mind talking about my job very much. I never ever ever put the name on my blog – and since I don’t do that, I feel like I can complain as much as I want. I also don’t mention names of co-workers (but I never mention names of people on my blog anyway).

I am jealous of your job! D: (And I definitely agree that Up > Wall-E.)

(Oh, and you’re not part of a union at the DVD place?)

I know what you mean about trying to figure out the fine line when blogging about work. I wrote up an entry about my internship last week but then deleted it after I was done. It didn’t go into that much detail, but I’d rather be safe than sorry when it comes to blogging about work life, you know?
